Artist Statement
Amanda is an artist, illustrator, and designer residing in Salem, MA. Her personal work discusses the beauty between the codependence of life and death. She draws much of her influence from the natural world, outer space, and the duality found within the cosmos. Her work often features skulls of various organisms, because to her, skulls are the most beautiful thing left behind by a lifeform. The skull was once the seat of consciousness for that being; it once held the brain and eyes, all of which are key organs for life to process existing.

Amanda works in virtually all mediums, but finds the most enjoyment in working with either acrylics or watercolors.
