If you would like to get a portrait you can show up and be on standby today from 1-4 and Sunday from 11-3PM only
We are no longer registering for Photo Sessions, Walk-ins Welcome.
If you are a trans-identified individual, photographer Mx. NV Gay will be creating “This Is Trans” portraits at Salem Arts Association. Participation is free and you will receive a copy of your portrait.
Free portrait sessions with Mx. NV Gay will be held at the Salem Arts Association Galleries.
Each photo session shall take approximately 10-15 minutes, not including any waiting time during your session period.
The registration will ask you to answer the question “What does being transgender mean to you?”, and provide the following information: Chosen Name, Pronouns, Contact Information, and Instagram Account Name.
Personal information collected in the registration form will not be shared publicly. The only parts that will be used in the project will be your portrait, your preferred pronouns, and answer to the question "What does being transgender mean to you?"
We will do our best to accommodate your preferred date and times. Available is on a first-come basis and based on space and availability.
After registration you will receive a confirmation email. We will review your date and time preferences and contact you to confirm your date and time.

Terms of Agreement
By submitting my registration, I agree to provide this information to Salem Arts Association, Vincent-Natasha Gay, the This is Trans Project and Exhibition, MX. Gay’s Creative Direction, LLC, and the Franklinton Art District freely and voluntarily. By electing to be part of the project as identified in the registration form, I further agree to have my image, portrait, and my answer to the question of “What does being transgender mean to you?” used for the This is Trans exhibition, project, books, cards, portraits in exhibits around the country, marketing material, and in all other ways by the foregoing entities.
