Life Drawing at Salem Arts Association

Space is limited to 15 people. Registration is required. $10.00 for Salem Arts Association members; $15.00 for non-members. Pay online or when you arrive to the event.

Drawn Together and the Salem Arts Association invite you to an evening of life drawing in Salem Art’s historic galleries. Our model, Pixie, is a photographer’s model who specializes in cosplay and scene work. She will pose for various durations between 7:00 and 9:00 PM. There will be no instruction.

Please note, doors will open at 6:30 and will be locked at 6:55 to secure the model’s privacy. No one will be let in after the doors are locked. The model will start modeling promptly at 7:00 and will end at 9:00, at which time the doors will re-open. 

The life drawing session will be a "no-fumes,"dust, or splatter environment. Participants must bring their own supplies, which can include dry media only. Artists must bring their own supports, including easels. Folding chairs will be available.

PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE MODEL OR DRAWING SESSION IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

This event is hosted by Sue Grillo and Beki Ferrari, both of whom are Salem Arts Association members and founders of Salem’s premier weekly drawing event, Drink n’ Draw. Sue and Beki hosted Drink n’ Draw at Gulu-Gulu for over five years before COVID-19 forced them to move the event online. The online event, Drawn Together, has been meeting weekly over Zoom sinc 2020 and brings artists of all levels together for an evening of fun, creativity, and camaraderie.
