Here's some of our Live Auction Highlights...
1. LIVE TAROT PHOTO SHOOT BY JIM BOSTICK:
Private photoshoot for an individual or couple in my studio that includes ac-cess to my vast wardrobe collection of medieval clothing and suits of armor. This could be an option to possibly be portrayed as your own tarot card! or just a nice studio portrait. The package includes one framed piece of artwork of the finished product.
2. BICYCLE DONATED BY SALEM CYCLE
Whether it's around the block, or across town, Liv's Via 1 W is sure to please. The sleek chromoly step-through frame is easy to mount and dis-mount and offers a comfortable, upright riding position. Fast-rolling alumi-num wheels are wrapped in 700 x 32c puncture-resistant tires. The 3-speed rear hub keeps you spinning all day, and small details like a rust-resistant chain, riveted springer saddle, front basket, fenders, and chain-guard keep you comfortable and looking good while you ride.
3. COOKING TRICKS & DINNER FOR 6
Kate Hammond, Executive Chef at Shubies in Marblehead and previous owner chef of the Grapevine Restaurant for 25 years and her husband Chef Vittorio Ambrogi will show you some kitchen tricks and cook, serve and entertain you in their fabulous home in Salem. All courses beautifully paired with wine, This is a very unusual and rare experience you do not want to miss!
4. HOUSE IN ROCHEGUDE, FRANCE FOR 10 DAYS, Sleeps 6
Nestled in the countryside region north of Orange and Avignon, in the charming village of Rochegude offers a comfortable home to rest after exploring the vast options the area has to offer!. Around the corner is the 3 Michelin star restaurant Chateau de Rochegude! There are many wineries to visit including the beautiful village of Chateneuf du Pape, Medieval build-ings and the glorious French countryside to explore.
5. CONDO IN GRENADA CARIBBEAN for a week, Sleeps 4
Fully furnished and equipped condo over looking St Davids Bay. Along the 1/2 hour drive from St. George are shops, bakeries, rum distilleries, grocery stores. The condo is just a short walk down to the beach, and snorkeling, fishing, sailing, scuba diving all around the island! Your home sits on a ridge on the southeastern tip of the island just below the hurricane belt. Enjoy a commanding 360 degree view of sunrise on the Atlantic, sunsets over St. Davids Bay. Relax and dine by your own lap pool or walk to the beach. Available any season of the year by reservation with the owner!
6. PRIVATE ORGAN CONCERT BY DOUGLAS MAJOR
International Concert Organist Douglas Major will present a private Organ Concert for up to 20 people, playing requests, movie music, and some sing alongs for your guests' enjoyment. Date to be decided mutually, to take place in Salem or Marblehead, and the concert is sure to be a favorite and long-remembered evening for you and your friends! Doug has enjoyed a 35 year career in the international concert world. He has performed in 45 of the 50 United States, served as Organist and Choirmaster at Washington National Cathedral for 28 years, and performed numerous concerts in Great Britain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Japan, China, the Philip-pines, and Malaysia. For the last eight years, he has been principal accompanist for Elizabeth VonTrapp
7. LIVE PAINTING BY KEVIN KUSIOLEK
Kevin is a local artist (one of our very own) working out of his studio in Salem. He earned his BA in Fine Art, Painting/Drawing from Towson Univer-sity in 2010. Kevin exhibits his work throughout the North Shore in local galleries as well as other private collections. He has been winning and placing at every recent exhibit he has been a part of lately. 8. HOUSE W/ COTTAGE & TREE HOUSE IN MAINE FOR A WEEK, Sleeps 11, value $1000.00
Deborah Greel & John Wathne have graciously offered their wonderful get away in Poland Spring, just two hours from Salem and 25 minutes north-west of Portland. The property on 24 acres of land includes a house that sleeps five, a guest house (Love Shack) that can sleep 4 and a tree house that sleeps 2. The house is fully furnished with a kitchen complete with everything you need. Enjoy cocktails on the porch of the “Love Shack” in the field to watch the sunset. After dinner on the deck sit by the fire-pit and all your cares will melt away.
