Donna Albino - Paper Making Demonstration

  • Saturday, July 12, 2008
  • 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Artist Row Plaza
Donna Albino will be giving an ongoing demonstration of paper making from 10AM to noon.

Even after recycling, each American throws out more than a pound of paper every day! Turning junk mail, old bills, outdated flyers and other discarded paper into handmade paper is an easy way to divert some of that paper from the trash.

You'll get to see the technique from raw materials to final product as Donna demonstrates the process. You can even try creating a few sheets of paper yourself, and take them home with you. You will never be able to look at your trash again without thinking about the treasures you can make!

Donna Albino has been in love with papermaking for the past 15 years. She is committed to the reduce/reuse/recycle philosophy of living and enjoys picking through her friends' trash for unusual papermaking materials!
