Artist Bio or Résumé
Diana Martocchia is a born again local to the Northshore area and currently lives in Salem MA. Born and raised in Peabody, she moved to the Greater Boston area in 1995. She received her Bachelors of Fine Arts from Lesley University, and has since completed many graduate courses and certificate programs in Art and Education. Diana has been a teacher for over 15 years in both Art and Special Education. She has an unique ability to engage and inspire all of her students both young and old. She is a grateful mother to 2 amazing children, and continues to grow with them everyday…
“Troszkę tego, troszkę tego…” which her mom has said to her since she was a small child. In Polish, it is loosely translated to-a little bit of this and a little bit of that...most recently Diana’s journey has taken her on a more holistic path in which her spirituality is reflected in her work. Her inspiration comes from many different sources, all which radiate from positive energy and love. Simple, Pure, and Free.
