Artist Statement
During my youth, I couldn’t imagine a life without painting. Back then, my focus was on all things rock and roll. Then medical school happened. After several decades of hard work, I began to spend time with creative people who rekindled my desire to paint again. I discovered Plein Air painting which gets me outside, often by the water. But fear not—there are still a couple of jackets with album covers painted on them rattling around from the old days. It feels good to be back.
