Life is less like a box of chocolates and more like a neverending series of impressions made upon us, like finger marks in wet clay. As artists, not only do we visualize and bring to life the impressions that have been made on us by sights, sounds, scents, interactions, dreams, and ideas; we also leave impressions on everyone who sees our work. For this exhibition, we ask our member artists to consider the impressions you’re left with long after a thing has passed, to consider the impressions that we leave in our passing, and to bring those impressions to life.

| Susan HurstSusan is a registered architect specializing in historic preservation. She is also a fashion illustrator and fine artist. Her artwork has been displayed at venues in and around Boston, including a solo show. Susan’s studies have also included extensive training within the visual arts and fashion design. |
| Paul McMahanPaul is an award-winning artist and a signature member of the venerable New England Watercolor Society. He worked as an architectural illustrator on projects around the world for over 30 years. Paul also taught painting and drawing for decades at many Boston are colleges. His work is widely collected across the United States. |
